Upward Basketball

 

Meek Baptist Church annually hosts Upward Basketball and Cheerleading. Registration for this community league for kindergarten through sixth grade children usually begins in August, with Registration forms available at the church office.

 

A basketball registration fee includes t-shirt, jersey, car magnet and end-of-season award. A cheereleading registration fee includes uniform, megaphone, poms, car magnet and end of season award. Children are guaranteed equal playing time, separate leagues for boys and girls, one hour weekly practices, and one hour games on Saturday throughout an eight-week season.

 

In addition to maximizing the family schedule, participants are individually evaluated and placed on teams according to their evaluation score, ensuring equal teams. The required evaluations and orientations will be held at Meek Baptist Church. Keep tuned to this website for dates and times.
